Photo Gallery #3
(photos taken over the 1992, 1994 and 1995 summers)
I hiked up the back side Baldy and found this shot of crews coming up the front side of Baldy. In the background is Eagle's Nest Lake. It has turned into one of my favorite pictures.
Looking across Route 64, up into Baldy Town at Baldy Mountain. I was chasing a deer at the time this picture came into focus.
From the burn spot on top of the Mesa, this picture of Baldly comes into view. It is well worth the trek over the Mesa and out of Philmont to find this spot.
I took this from the top of Baldy in order to show Tooth Ridge. I think you can pick it out... maybe...
I was on a ranger roundtable at Urracra when we took lunch at Inspiration Point. We just commented on how cool clouds look from different parts of the ranch and this comes along.
Looking off Lover's Leap on a misty morning.
Some of the examples from Indian Writings camp
The best picture I never intended to take. I was one picture away from changing roles, so I snapped this at Bent Camp, and had no idea.
